A pair of former CSSHL student-athletes in Adam Boatter and Gavin Nemis have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
Boatter has signed with the Everett Silvertips after he was originally selected by the Spokane Chiefs of the fourth round of the 2022 WHL Draft. The Maple Ridge, BC defenseman spent three seasons in the CSSHL with BWC Academy, originally joining in 2020/21. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 30 points in 27 games. During the 2022/23 U18 Prep season Boatter had 4 goals and 23 assists. He is committed to Colorado College post his junior career.
Originally undrafted to the WHL, Nemis has signed with the Kamloops Blazers. The Winnipeg, MB forward joined RHA Winnipeg for the 2020/21 U15 Prep season. The following U16 Prep campaign he posted 25 points in 36 games, before recording 26 points in 32 U18 Prep games in 2022/23. Nemis would then spend two seasons in the MJHL with the Dauphin Kings, posting 64 points in 90 games.
